If you do not agree with our Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy, you must not use the website.

1.2          Our Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions, so please read that too. These Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy and any other document we refer to in these Terms & Conditions make up the whole agreement between us.

1.3          We reserve the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms & Conditions at our sole discretion. The Terms & Conditions applicable to your access to and use of this website will be the version that is current and displayed on this website at the applicable time.  It is your responsibility to check the Terms & Conditions each time you access or use the website.

1.4          Special offers or temporary promotions on the website may be subject to additional terms and conditions.   Also, some services accessible via the website are provided by third parties who work with us and subject to separate terms and conditions.  You are responsible for checking these and determining whether or not you accept them.

2.2     We also own and operate the main MyFamilyClub website at You can access the main website through a link on our Bloggers Network website. Separate Terms & Conditions explain our conditions for your use of the main website.

 3.            Registering With Us

3.1          You have to register with us and be signed in to use our website.

3.2          If you are under 18, don’t register unless you have permission from your legal guardian (usually a parent) to do so.  The site is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 12.

3.3          You should keep your sign in details private at all times, not share them with anybody, and let us know if you think somebody else has access to them. You must keep your personal information accurate and up to date, especially your email address.

3.4          By registering you are agreeing to receive a MyFamilyClub newsletter by email, at least once a week. If you do not wish to receive these newsletters you may unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of your newsletters.

3.5     We may send you various emails to provide you with a good service. These include notifications that you have received a message from a friend, reminders about your membership, and guides on how to use the service.

3.6     MyFamilyClub has teamed up with KidStart and by registering you are also registering with KidStart and will receive email newsletters from KidStart. If you do not wish to receive these newsletters you may unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the newsletters.  KidStart’s Terms and Conditions can be found at

3.7     You may also opt in to receiving occasional information, offers and services from other third party companies that we think you might like or be interested in. If you decide you no longer want to receive these communications, you may unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the email.

4.     What You Can Use the Website For

4.1          You are entitled to use our website for personal non-commercial purposes only, such as to access and submit blog posts, and look for ways to save money and time for your family.  You are not permitted to use our website for any business purpose.

4.2     You are permitted to use our website, including the content on our website, as follows:

(a)       to access, interact with and view various features on our website;

(b)    to amend your account details, including your personal details;

(c)    to upload your own content and interact with our content on our website; and

(d)    to view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from our website.

4.3     You should not use our website or content on our website for any purpose not set out in clause 4.2 and, in particular:

(a)    you must not breach any laws, third party rights or these Terms & Conditions;

(b)    you must not edit or otherwise modify our content;

(c)    you must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, re-sell, distribute, download or use our content, either in whole or in part, other than as permitted under these Terms & Conditions;

(d)    you must not collect (or attempt to collect) other registered users’ content (including email addresses), or otherwise access our website, using automated means without our express consent;

(e)    you must not solicit login information or access another registered user’s account without express permission; and

(f)    you must not use any analytical, information-gathering or automated tools, including but not limited to harvesting bots, scrapers, spiders and robots, or do anything which might prevent the website from working properly (e.g. a denial of service attack).

5.            Intellectual Property Rights

5.1         All rights, title and interest in this website and its contents, except where stated otherwise in relation to the User Content, are copyright of MyFamilyClub Limited or our licensors.  All rights reserved. You are permitted to use this website and the material and content contained therein only as expressly authorised by us and for private and non-commercial purposes only.

5.2      We may now or in the future permit you to post, comment, upload or otherwise make available on the website messages, recipes, text, illustrations, files, images, graphics, photos, comments, sounds, music, videos, information, content, and/or other materials (“User Content”).

5.3      By submitting User Content to us, you automatically grant to us a worldwide, fully-paid, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully sub-licensable, and transferable right and license to use, record, sell, lease, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works based upon (including, without limitation, translations), edit, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, publish and otherwise exploit the User Content (in whole or in part) as we think fit. We may exercise this grant in any format, media or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any copyright that may exist in such User Content.

5.4         Subject to the rights and license you grant to us under these Terms & Conditions, you retain ownership of copyright in your User Content.  This means that you can continue to use the User Content in any way, including allowing others to use it, outside this website.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, you waive your moral rights with respect to the User Content.

5.5       You are free to write whatever is on your mind in your blog posts; however, you must not submit any User Content that:

(a)       is inaccurate, fraudulent or misleading;

(b)       violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, including, but not limited to, any contractual, copyright, trademark, moral right, or other third party right of any person or entity;

(c)       impersonates another or is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, blasphemous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, promotes sexually explicit material, harassing, pornographic or otherwise objectionable;

(d)   the communication of which could incite hatred, promotes violence, promotes discrimination, or which could constitute criminal activity;

(e)       contains a formula, instruction, or advice that could cause harm or injury;

(f)    if used by us in connection with our website, would expose us to any liability or sanction;

(g)    contains personal information of other living people, unless you have their express permission; or

(h)    contains unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional material, or commercial communications such as spam, or viruses or other malicious code.

5.6     We exercise no editorial control and accept no responsibility for User Content posted, transmitted or shared by you and other users on the website. Where we have received notice from a third party regarding User Content, however, or where we reasonably believe, in our sole discretion, that such User Content contravenes these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to delete or remove (without notice to you) any such User Content, or to take any of the other actions set out in clause 11.

5.7     By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you are agreeing to the possibility of MyFamilyClub choosing one of your blog posts submitted as User Content as our ‘Blog of the Month’, which will then be republished on the MyFamilyClub Blog with a link back to your blog post, and also featured on the MyFamilyClub main website home page. We may also choose to feature your winning blog post on the MyFamilyClub Facebook page and on our Twitter feed.

6.            Third Party Suppliers and Links

6.1              Our website may feature external links to third party websites. Content and any goods/services offered for sale on third parties’ websites are beyond our control, and no representation is made as to their content. Use or reliance on any external links and the content thereon provided is at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for the content on or services provided through any third party websites.

6.2          Other websites may be subject to terms and conditions of use, and it is your responsibility to check these.

7.            Personal Data and Cookies

8.          Viruses

8.1        While we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee that any material which you download from or access on the website will be free from infection, viruses and/or other code that has contaminating or destructive properties and we shall have no liability if the same are transmitted during the course of using the website.

8.2        You should therefore ensure that you have appropriate protection against viruses and other security arrangements in place whilst using the internet.

8.3        You must not misuse the website by knowingly introducing any viruses, trojan horses or other files containing contaminating or destructive properties.

We shall not be liable to you for any failure by us to deliver any part of the website timeously for any reason.

10.2   Subject to the provisions hereof and except in so far as our liability may not be excluded or limited by law, our total liability, whether under these Terms & Conditions or otherwise, shall be limited to £100. This is a free service, and you acknowledge and agree that our limitation and exclusions of liability are reasonable in all the circumstances.

10.3   Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or for fraud.

11.   Cancellation or suspension of our service

We may, at our sole discretion, do all or any of the following if we think you are infringing third parties’ rights; creating problems or potential legal liabilities; breaching these Terms & Conditions; or abusing the service, including but not limited to publishing inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise unlawful content:

(a)  issue a warning to you;

(b)  immediately remove User Content on a temporary or permanent basis;

(c)  immediately withdraw your right to use our website on a temporary or permanent basis;

(d)  restrict access to parts of our service; or

(e)  pursue legal proceedings against you.

12.          Miscellaneous

12.1        These Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are personal to you, and you are not allowed to transfer your rights under these Terms & Conditions to anyone else.

12.2        If any part of these Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy no longer applies or is not legally enforceable, then that part will be severed from the rest of the agreement: the rest will continue to apply.

12.3        These Terms & Conditions are made under the law of England and Wales and any disputes between you and us will only be heard in English courts, unless you are registered on the website with a residential address in Scotland, in which case any disputes shall only be heard in Scottish courts.
